Apollo Green Solutions Human Rights Policy

At Apollo Green Solutions, we are committed to upholding the principles of human rights as outlined in the International Bills of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We believe that respecting and promoting human rights is essential to achieving sustainable development and fostering a culture of integrity, responsibility, and accountability within our organization and in the communities where we operate.

1. Respect for International Bills of Human Rights:

We recognize and respect the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights. We are committed to ensuring that our actions and business practices do not infringe upon the fundamental human rights and freedoms of individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.

2. UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights:

We acknowledge our responsibility to respect human rights throughout our operations and business relationships as guided by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We strive to identify, prevent, and mitigate any adverse human rights impacts associated with our activities, products, and services. This includes conducting human rights due diligence, engaging with stakeholders, and providing effective remedies for any harm caused.

3. ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work:

We endorse the fundamental principles and rights set forth in the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We are committed to promoting decent work, fair labor practices, and the elimination of all forms of forced labor, child labor, discrimination in employment, and workplace harassment within our organization and across our supply chains.

4. Internal Whistleblowing:

We maintain a robust internal whistleblowing or “speak up” mechanism that enables employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns or violations related to human rights, ethical conduct, or compliance with this policy. We ensure confidentiality, non-retaliation, and prompt investigation of all reports, and we take appropriate corrective action when necessary.

5. External Whistleblowing/Grievance Mechanism:

In addition to our internal mechanism, we provide external whistleblowing and grievance mechanisms for individuals and communities affected by our operations. These mechanisms offer accessible channels for reporting grievances, seeking remedies, and engaging in dialogue with our company. We are committed to transparently addressing external concerns and collaborating with stakeholders to find equitable solutions.

At Apollo Green Solutions, we are dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights in all aspects of our business. We recognize that respecting human rights is not only a legal and ethical obligation but also a fundamental aspect of sustainable and responsible business practices. Through continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to these principles, we strive to contribute positively to the well-being and dignity of all individuals impacted by our operations.
